Intra-District & Open Enrollment Information
Applications for the 2024-2025 school year are available online!
Applications for the 2025-2026 school year will be available online April 1, 2025!
The preferred method to apply for inter/intra district open enrollment is using the Tri-Valley online application form. This form is “active” only during the application period and is accessible through a link at the bottom of this page. Although paper forms are available, they are discouraged unless the parent is unable to submit an online application.
Definitions:
Inter District & Intra District Application Forms: Documents which need to be completed in the spring.
Inter District (Open Enrollment): Students who live in a different school district and request to attend Tri-Valley Local Schools.
Intra District: Students who live within Tri-Valley and wish to attend a different Tri-Valley elementary building.
Register/Registration: To register a student through Registration Gateway.

Inter District application forms are available through the building secretaries. You are encouraged to submit them promptly.
New students are not to register through Registration Gateway until you have received notification from the Superintendent that your inter district open enrollment request has been approved. You will be notified of your child's acceptance or decline by the Tri-Valley District Office in mid-July with instructions to register your child at that time.

New Students applying for Intra District are to register through their "HOME" building via Registration Gateway before submitting the Intra District Application form.
