My name is Kelly Kidwell and I am the 6th grade Reading/Language Arts teacher at Dresden Elementary. This is my fourth year at Tri-Valley and I am so very excited to be a Scottie!
This year is my 19th year of teaching. I have previous experience as a kindergarten teacher, 7th grade teacher, and Title 1 Reading/Math Intervention.
I live on a farm just inside Knox County with my husband, Korey and our two daughters--Ellie is a 10th grader at TVHS and Josie is a 7th grader at TVMS. We spend a lot of time working on the farm where we have Black Angus cattle, lots of chickens (way too many to count and keep track of), two bunnies, two dogs, a kitty, and a fish. I enjoy working outside in the barn, the garden, the flowerbeds...I'd rather be outside than in any day! I am also a 4H advisor for a club in Knox County and I love getting kids involved in animals and projects. I have also spent some time coaching softball in the summers.
Please contact me with any questions you may have throughout the year!
