Hello, my name is Samantha Mizer and I am a teacher at Dresden Elementary. I have previously taught in 1st and 2nd grade classrooms; however, I am very excited to teach Kindergarten!
I obtained my bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education from Muskingum University. I focus my instruction on reading, writing, and mathematics, while still integrating science and social studies curriculum into everyday learning. I always try to instill a love of reading and learning in my students.
I am fortunate to be able to team teach and plan with the kindergarten team at Dresden Elementary, who include Scott Ritchie and Meghan Starrett. Together we will provide effective, hands on learning experiences that are enjoyable for all students.
I currently live outside Frazeysburg with my husband and enjoy being a part of the Tri-Valley Local School District and community.
