The technology team consists of:
Greg Ardrey - Network Administrator
Kris Barnhart - Computer Technician
The Tri-Valley has met the ETech Ohio recommendation of providing 1 computer for every 5 students. With over 1,100 computers available district wide, students both use and learn about technology daily. The district-wide computer network ensures that documents and other resources travel with students and staff to any computer.
Tri-Valley staff members use integrated technology tools to manage their daily activities, using tools like ProgressBook to record and communicate assignments and grades.
Tri-Valley's commitment to using technology to enhance education is evident througout. Our 6-year computer replacement cycle ensures that students and staff are using current technology. SuccessMaker, Study Island, Reading Counts, and other online educational services allow Tri-Valley to use technology to assist with the assessment and intervention aspects of education.
We are currently evaluating “interactive devices” such as SMART boards and Tablet PCs. As we plan the technology tools and services that will be integrated into the new school buildings, we are ensuring that staff and students will have a state-of-the-art facility.
